Oracle CPQ AI Intelligence is a Google Chrome browser extension engineered to enhance operational efficiency for users working within Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) environments. The extension delivers a suite of user-initiated productivity tools designed to facilitate navigation, configuration validation, transaction management, and data extraction within supported CPQ domains.
This extension adheres to a strict zero-data-collection policy. No personal data, personally identifiable information (PII), sensitive personal information, usage analytics, telemetry, browsing history, or user behavior is collected, transmitted, stored externally, or accessible by the developer or any third party.
All data processing operations occur entirely within the user's local browser environment. No data is transmitted to external servers, cloud services, remote databases, or third-party systems. Processing is confined to the active browser session and is executed solely to fulfill user-initiated requests.
The extension communicates exclusively with the Oracle CPQ domain currently authenticated by the user. All network requests are same-origin, authenticated via the user's existing session credentials, and sent only to *.bigmachines.com domains. The extension does not initiate communication with external APIs, third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or any services outside the user's CPQ environment.
The extension may persist limited, non-sensitive user preferences and configuration settings locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. Stored data may include:
All stored data remains local to the user's browser installation and is never synchronized, uploaded, or transmitted externally.
To optimize performance and reduce redundant API calls, the extension may temporarily cache non-sensitive CPQ configuration metadata retrieved from the user's authenticated CPQ instance. Cached data may include product families, model names, BOM mapping rules, and transaction metadata. Cached entries are retained for a maximum of 30 days, after which they expire automatically. Cached data is stored locally and is never shared, transmitted, or made accessible outside the user's browser.
User-provided inputs—such as transaction identifiers, document numbers, query attribute values, or search terms—are processed transiently to execute the requested action. These inputs are used solely for the immediate operation (e.g., opening a transaction, resolving an internal ID, or filtering results) and are not retained beyond the session, logged, tracked, or transmitted to external systems.
When explicitly initiated by the user, the extension may generate downloadable files (e.g., CSV exports of BML function catalogs or extracted data tables). File generation occurs entirely within the browser using data already visible to the user on the active CPQ page. Generated files are saved directly to the user's local device via the browser's download mechanism and are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to the developer.
The extension does not deploy cookies, web beacons, fingerprinting technologies, analytics frameworks (e.g., Google Analytics), telemetry systems, advertising pixels, or any form of tracking or user profiling technology.
Oracle CPQ AI Intelligence is intended exclusively for use by authorized personnel of organizations licensed to access Oracle CPQ Cloud. The extension is designed to improve usability, reduce manual repetition, and streamline administrative and development workflows within CPQ environments.
The extension operates in a read-only capacity with respect to CPQ data. It does not create, modify, delete, or deploy configurations, transactions, quotes, or any other business data within Oracle CPQ. All operations consist of navigation assistance, data visualization, local data extraction, or REST API endpoint inspection.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they possess the requisite organizational authorization to access CPQ data and utilize the extension's features. Users must comply with their organization's internal data access policies, information security protocols, and Oracle CPQ usage agreements.
